4. reassembly of the scope and re-setting of the factory elevation adjustment to 100 yards and setting the windage to center.

the scope should then be re-zeroed to your rifle. information on how to zero the zf4 is posted on the "tips" page and "information" page on my website. note that the windage adjustment will not visibly move from the occular end of the scope, the movement is internal, and can be witnessed from the objective end of the scope. many people think that since the windage does not move that something is broken, but this is generally not the case.
I can't guarantee perfect results as sometimes the lenses are flawed or have internal damage which I cannot repair, but 98% of the time I am able to make the scope 95-100% clear and fully functional. if any parts inside the scope, or in the adjustment drums are broken, I do not have replacements on hand. if I cannot affect a cleaning or repair due to broken or missing parts, I will waive the $100 cleaning fee and return the scope.

Zf4 reproduction scope mounts. These are brand new blued steel made in Germany and are cast from a mold taken from an original mount. They are near perfect in every detail, dimension, machine marks, and proofs. every thing is there, rough forging inclusions, lateral machine lines, tooling marks, correct style proof marks and lever assemblies, indexing holes. They fit your rifle perfecty, and only a seasoned collector can tell these from an original. Why get one of the cheaply made Sarco mounts made in Taiwan which don't look nearly as good, not to mention they are too short to clear the bolt carrier upon cycling? Yes, those mounts are less expensive than the ones I offer, but why buy something you can't even use? Each mount comes with two blued steel scope retaining band assemblies.
